Visitors will get the opportunity to come face to face with some of the metal stars of the big screen face to face and will get up close and personal with famous androids such as the Planet Robot thought to be inspired by Robby the Robot from the Hollywood movie Forbidden Planet, who was introduced into the Robot Hall of Fame in 2008. Film fans will recognise a vintage Robocop and a B9 robot torso made by the legendary Andy Shaw, the original Dalek builder. Fem-bots are also represented with the beautiful Grace exposed in all her glory and a promotional battle droid will be on open display along with such non-human stars a rare Sonny, who starred alongside Will Smith in the film I, Robot. Many people will remember when Tomorrow’s World promised a future with household robots. At the exhibition, there will be R.A.D. personal robots and the famous Scooter 2000. With so much on show, visitors will be spoilt for choice. And around every corner lurks another metallic star - from The Term...
